Morphine
The following portrait pulls me in as Saunders has expressed his feelings and emotions with intensity. Judging on the numerous circular shapes in the portrait and around it Saunders may have felt like he was stuck in a shell. The light colours express emptyness. There is a block shaped circle where his heart is. This could mean he was feeling heartless. A heart replaced with a deep dark hole. The spots surrounding the inner portrait could be signs of illusination and dizzyness. The pupil of the eye is very small but bold enough for us to see his vision is in extreme.
