The Ox's heart. An usual and exciting lesson may I say the least which took part in life drawing. A whole new concept in the subject. I have thought a lot into the composition of this and used both colour and black and white to emphasise different parts drawn of the heart. I used graphite pencil with a splash of watercolour. The background is in fact the sheet of paper on which the ox's heart was laying leaving an outer line of a blood stain. In the lower right corner you will see a print of a sketch of mine in my abstract book which is a happy accident to happen on my sheet of a blood stain. Many shapes have been created forming a sheet full of abstract life drawings.
