Smallwood is an inspiration of mine in her style of drawing and painting. Browsing through her blog I noticed it is bold and simple with a white background and black font. The heading looks to be handwritten, as if she has used it as her signature. This levels out the artistic composition and colours. There's a number of headlines including information needed such as her work, contact details and exhibitions. The exhibitions are ordered from year after year. The home page is set out with a piece of her art work in the centre, which is welcoming. On each separate page I can see that Smallwood has set out her paintings and sketches as thumbnails with the years above in which she has done them. It is easy to see that she has experimented in different styles going from portraits to figurative drawings. There is use of different media being used such as watercolour, oil and pen.
