I found this blog to be beautifully inspirational. Davison has made it clear that he can work in a number of different ways, with a great talent for editing. There has been a lot of thought put into the composition as it is done in a creative manner. On the home page, his name is headlined in grey and white bold letters with one of his photographs used as a logo. He has stuck to the black and white theme. In each of the catagories Davison has shown a body of work in his different techniques of working in photography from portraits, to the streets and film. As you drag your mouse over each catagorie it is highlighted. He focusses on contrast, light and shade in order to bring out each picture.
I was incredibly inspired by the films as they are morbid and heart warming. This man has gone to great extremes to produce unique outcomes. He has included many people from the public in his photography focussing on the background as well as the characters. Making us look around the image and not just in the centre. I also found his blog to be informational. It includes exhibitions, contact details, other websites and an interview with a novelist he has used to photograph.
