Recently, I was giving a project which insisted on focusing on one object and developing outcomes in a number of different techniques. I chose to use my china doll as my china doll's are precious to me and I would like to practice my work in portraiture. I wanted to achieve each process in a way for my china to look vintage, weird and beautiful.
Watercolour
As I have been told, people have a fear of china dolls, and I absolutely love that. I have grown up with a true love and passion for china dolls and always seen the beauty to them. In this portrait, I have worked in a way to progress that feel of fear in what people see, making the public that more terrified. I have achieved this by leaving one eye blank as if it is rolled at the back of her head with blood dripping down as if she is crying blood. I chose to experiment with this by using a number of different colours in her face and dress.

This very painting is a painting of mine which I produced in a different outcome to the rest.
I have worked in the same way on each of my other outcomes on my china doll and In this, I chose to work with a different meaning behind it.
As you can see I have stuck to my theme but also chose to create emotion behind it. This way my china doll has also become human like with child like features.
